As I was going along about my daily routine, I came across an article, I though to myself (as I often do), "How ironic?" On Monday night Luella Bartley held an intimate dinner at Kettner's in Soho. However, this wasn't just a post-show party; it was also a launch part for Miss Bartley's new bag and the eighth edition of Lula magazine, the brainchild of British Vogue alum Leith Clark. The combined celebration was fitting as Bartley collaborated on the latest edition of Lula. Among those in attendance at the sit down dinner were current cover model Chanel Iman, Keira Knightley and Erin Wasson. Sounds like I missed quite a night! So you're wondering where's the irony? Well aside from Luella sounding like Lula (duh silly)(a joke) I found this to be ironic on a purely personal level. It was just Monday that my good friend Wonderlander blogged about Miss Bartley and yesterday after we enjoyed a cup of tea and an iced latte (mine) we wondered into Waterstone's where Wonderlander picked up this very issue of Lula. I found it to be quite ironic as Wonderlander, who is quite a magazine queen, had never heard of Lula and the day she did was right after the day that she blogged about Luella Bartley, which happened to be the same night that Luella Bartley had a party with Lula! Get it now?! Yeah, I know - that last bit was like an episode of Gossip Girl gone bad. My bad.
